Although Vilnius is called the City of Baroque, here you can also find Gothic, Renaissance, Classicism and Jugend buildings. The main accents of the city which are also the symbols of the capital of Lithuania is Gediminas Castle and Cathedral Square. In the year 1994 because of its uniqueness the Old Town of Vilnius was inscribed on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List.
